Gretchen seriously has the best laugh ever, she laughs so hard her eyes close and you just can’t help but laugh along with her. What a fun shoot and super sweet senior.
She was insistent on doing a heel click 🙂

This girl..so fun, so stunning, so sweet! Hang with me through a longer post, it is worth it. I just could not post some of these. 🙂 Meet miss Kylee….
So excited to introduce you all to Emme and her gorgeous family. It was a great day, the weather was perfect, it was a fantastic location to photograph, at the MSU children’s garden. It was truly an honor to photograph this wonderful family!
Oh my goodness, I can’t hardly handle the cuteness of these girls, the dresses, the dancing, the location. This whole sessions makes me think of the secret garden!
It has been a long winter. Spring is here and I am so happy to be do many more shoots. Going to start off with this amazing senior, she loves theater, outdoors and her converse 🙂 We had a great time in Owosso, I do not shoot there often, but it had some really fun spots. 🙂 Here is the amazing Rebekah.
Meet Natalie! I love that she wanted her senior shoot done in the winter time. We had a few falls and we were a little cold, but the snow is so beautiful and it was so peaceful and quiet outside. I need to do more shoots in the winter. 🙂
Winter hits here in Michigan and you never know what you are going to get. Could be -20 or it could be 45. It is just a weekly game. It has been an interesting winter so far. Some of my sessions, that are outdoor sessions, have been rescheduled a few times and other times it has been a nice winter day. I love to shoot both inside and outside so this was a great family shoot, with a little bit of both. I usually apologize for doing longer blog post, but I am going to stop doing that, I am just going to post the photos I love from each shoot, no matter how long it makes my post. 🙂
Two young girls meet on Mackinaw Island 20 years ago. One was from the country, one was from the city, they had two different backgrounds and two different reasons they were on the island. The one girl was me and I was there to work with horses for the summer and give tours of one of my most favorite places on earth. I love Mackinaw Island so much! The other girl was Veronica, she was there to get away for the summer through a school program. We were introduced to each other and were informed we were roommates. Well what started out as just roommates ended up being a life long friendship! We were placed together because I was a little older, she was younger and I guess they thought I might look out for her, which we looked out for each other. We had such a blast on the island all summer and did so much together, we became not just friends but sisters. Summer ended, I stayed on the island and she went back to school, I was already graduated from school. We always kept in touch. Lives got busy, our families grew but we always remained close and her kids know me as aunt and my kids know her as aunt. We are all family and I love them so much! Well here we are 20 years later and I am photographing her beautiful daughter, my niece, I love this girl so much and she is seriously gorgeous. I am so blessed they are in our lives and so blessed to be able to photograph the beautiful Serene.
I photograph this family a few times a year. So much fun watching these kids grow.
Love all these next ones so much in black and white…..
Nothing better then watching kids be kids and making their memories…. LOVE
This photo.. LOVE so much..
