Michigan weather has been crazier then normal this year, my shoots are being rescheduled and re-rescheduled, due to rain. Finally we had a break in the weather and I got to spend it with this amazing couple. So excited for Camelle and Jay’s wedding in September.
Had a great time with Ian at his grandpa’s farm and then headed to downtown Howell for a few photos. Such a great, fun senior.
This beautiful, amazing women is soon to be mom to baby No. 7. I can not describe to you just how beautiful she is inside and out. I have had the pleasure of photographing her family and the love they all have for each other is truly just beautiful to see and to be around. I can not wait to meet the newest member of the Wheeler family. Another longer blog post, but I am in love with this session and wanted to share so much. It was a cold day, but the location was breathtaking. Michigan has so many gorgeous places, but I must say the sand dunes are one on my favorites.
These two beautiful girls were so amazing. It was actually very cold outside when we had our shoot. I love the combination of long dresses and the beautiful woods. It is easy to want to hibernate during the winter months in Michigan, however on this shoot, it was a great reminder that in the winter, out in the quiet woods, can be just as beautiful.
Where does the time go? 6 years ago I photographed this beautiful high school senior Ashley. I remember the day so vividly, she was open to do anything when it came to getting awesome photos. Ashley’s photo shoot ended up being one of my favorite shoots. So how in the world am I now photographing her wedding? It seems so surreal. With that being said, I have known Ashley and her family for many years, I was beyond excited to be a part of her wedding. I did not get to meet Hayden until the day of their wedding, he is so hilarious! Hayden is also in the military, which I just have to take a moment and Thank You Hayden for your service to our country! With Hayden being on active duty, many of the wedding plans were done over the phone between him and Ashley. Hayden had a leave for a week or so and here we are having a wedding. It was a simple, small, beautiful, winter wedding. Hayden, you are perfect for Ashley and Ashley, you are perfect for Hayden. Thank you for allowing me to capture your love. I wish you both all the happiness in the world, and I am super excited to see where your journey in life takes you.
I assure you these are very happy tears, she is just moments away from heading down the isle.
I have had the privilege of photographing these girls for about 4 years. I love watching these amazing little girls grow. They are SO adorable!
I have photographed this girl since she was a baby! She has never ever liked to be in front of the camera. She still does not like to be in front of the camera, but we had a great shoot! She is beautiful inside and out. Such a privilege to watch her grow and capture this amazing time in her life. Here is the amazing Winter….

Me: UMMMMM HECK YES!!!! So we traveled to Grayling, Michigan. I love the locations, and she completely rocked her session! Once again a longer post, but I just had to! 🙂
Gretchen seriously has the best laugh ever, she laughs so hard her eyes close and you just can’t help but laugh along with her. What a fun shoot and super sweet senior.
