Giving Back

Sitting in church this Sunday, the pastor spoke about the upcoming Crop Walk Oct. 7th. If you are not familiar with the Crop Walk, it is a walk  to raise funds to end hunger. The walk is organized by local volunteers and is  sponsored by Church World Service. What struck me this morning listening to the pastor speak, she read a pamphlet of statistics. When she was done speaking it was amazing to me how truly privileged we are just to have safe drinking water, running water, medical facilities, vaccinations, electricity, and most of all food. Hearing some members of the church speak about experiencing this hands on was truly heartbreaking, to think how blessed we are to have food and water for are families.

So I just wanted to help out and give back. Starting today through Oct. 7th, for every session that is booked 20% of the session fee will we going to sponsor local church members of Oak Grove United Methodist walking in the crop walk.

If you are interested in booking a session and have been putting it off, please take this time to give me a shout and know that 20% off your session fee goes to fight hunger. If you not interested in booking a session, but would love to help out, please click here to learn more about the crop walk.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and many blessing to everyone.
