Beautiful Couple, Beautiful Location, Beautiful Weather! It was just perfect and I felt so honored to be a part of their special day.
I am so in love with this next photo…
I am so obsessed with vintage and historic times. Meaning I grew up watching Little House on the Prairie, Anne of Green Gables and I always dreamed I could live in those times. The simplicity yet difficulty of their lives. I love how families depended strictly on each other for everything. Where God and church were the center of everything in their lives, where you would know everyone in town by their name and they were not just neighbors but considered family and they would do anything for you. Children learned to live off the land and helped prepare dinner and would sit down as a family every night together. I wish so many times that we still lived that way. So many things such as technology, new medicines are amazing and wonderful. We are so connected and can keep in touch with everyone, people are living so much longer, etc. However, I personally can not help but wish that this way of life was slower, that phones, texting, emails, video games, being constantly connected to everyone. Don’t get me wrong, I love my iphone, I love being able to text all my friends and family, love my wii. 🙂 I just sometimes dream of the way things use to be, so I took myself back in time for a few hours and did a vintage photo shoot. These two little cuties were so wonderful in helping me accomplish what I was going for. I hope you find this photo shoot inspiring and perhaps it will take you back in time for a brief moment and remember the slower pace of life.
So extremely happy for this amazing couple. What an honor it was to be a part of their day and to photograph the beginning of so many memories to come.
Umm one of my favorites….

I adore this little family so much! I am so excited for them and all the new adventures they have ahead of them with this new little bundle.
Meet James, another awesome senior, who loves the guitar, chopping wood and gaming. The weather was so nice finally here in Michigan. It has been cold and rainy and it cleared up just in time for James’s shoot. Beginning with one of my favorite images of James.
