What a beautiful day for a beautiful couple. It was a simple, small, gorgeous wedding. I am so happy for these two!

Congratulations to this awesome couple! It was a simple, beautiful wedding. The reception was outdoors and the weather could not have been more perfect!

I photographed Mikayla’s seniors photos and I was so thrilled to photograph her wedding. The location was at the beautiful Post Family Farms, in New Hudson Michigan. Being a farm girl, I am in love with barn weddings. It was a gorgeous day, even though it was 98 degrees out, it was amazing and everyone had such a great time!  Congratulations to this amazing couple!!!

When you are asked by the groom, if I would mind taking photos of them reenacting parts of a movie called “mastermind” UMMMMM yes!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA this was so hilarious! I have never laughed so hard at a wedding before…

Where does the time go? 6 years ago I photographed this beautiful high school senior Ashley. I remember the day so vividly, she was open to do anything when it came to getting awesome photos. Ashley’s photo shoot ended up being one of my favorite shoots. So how in the world am I now photographing her wedding? It seems so surreal. With that being said, I have known Ashley and her family for many years,  I was beyond excited to be a part of her wedding. I did not get to meet Hayden until the day of their wedding, he is so hilarious! Hayden is also in the military, which I just have to take a moment and Thank You Hayden for your service to our country!  With Hayden being on active duty,  many of the wedding plans were done over the phone between him and Ashley.  Hayden had a leave for a week or so and here we are having a wedding. It was a simple, small, beautiful, winter wedding.  Hayden, you are perfect for Ashley and Ashley, you are perfect for Hayden. Thank you for allowing me to capture your love. I wish you both all the happiness in the world, and I am super excited to see where your journey in life takes you.

I assure you these are very happy tears,  she is just moments away from heading down the isle.

This couple just radiates love. Such two beautiful souls. It makes my heart so happy when I get to capture two amazing people committing themselves to each other for the rest of their lives. Congrats to this amazing couple.

They are so much fun….

Such a special wedding to me, Aaron is my nephew and I was so honored to be able to photograph his wedding. What is crazy to me though, is he was in my wedding 17 years ago. My gosh time flies! It was seriously a gorgeous day and one of my all time favorite wedding locations ever, RaOna Acres! I am such a country girl and when they told me they were getting married in a barn, I was beyond ecstatic. Once again it is a little bit of a longer post, but hold out to the end, so many great moments from this day and the light…. OH SO AMAZING!

These two…..So much love, so much happiness, and so much fun. I had the best time photographing this wedding!  What I loved most about this wedding is I have gained two new amazing people in my life.  Enjoy this amazing couple.

Time to party…

Since it was the harvest moon we had to sneak out for a few photos, the moon popped out just at the right moment.

Everyone has a special story, sometimes we don’t know someone’s story and other times we have the opportunity to hear their story. I don’t know all of Maureen and Rob’s story, but I can tell you this… a big part of their story just got started on their special wedding day. The wedding was held at the beautiful Chelsea House Victorian, it was a very private wedding with only family attending. I love to see a wedding unfold, the start of the day to the very end. I always feel so honored to be able to capture a chapter in a couple’s story. So thank you Maureen and Rob for allowing me to capture a chapter in your story! CONGRATS!

When I meet this couple last September to photograph their engagements session, I knew then what an amazing couple they were. So madly in love and not to mention my camera loves them!   I was so honored and thrilled to photograph their wedding. Their wedding was so perfect, gorgeous day, outdoor wedding, many happy tears shed, reception in the barn, pig roast, pies, cookies, popcorn, it made me think of my wedding so much.  I adore this couple so much and I wish them the very best on their new journey in life together.  Meet the Gardner’s…….
