Just to warn you from the beginning this is going to be a longer post. 🙂 I said on my facebook post of this couple that they are so very dear to my heart. A long time ago… well about 23 years to be exact, my friend Beth and I grew up right down the road from each other, sort of anyway, in the country down the road is about a mile or longer. We rode horses any chance we had. Her sisters were quite a bit older then us and some of them had kids already. Which we thought was great as teenagers, we loved it! I am sure you are wondering what any of this has to do with this shoot. Well one of those kids was Elise. I remember one time, I was going to take her for a ride on a horse, when she got on with me the horse took off running. I was so concerned with holding onto her, I could not even stop the horse. That was so scary to me as a teenager, and I think that is why that memory always sticks in my head with her. She on the other hand did not even notice that the horse was acting up and had fun. That is my memory anyway, hers might be different. 🙂 I was just saying to her that it is so funny where life takes you. I never would have guessed that I would be taking her engagement photos 20 years later and I would have never imagined that we both would share the same love for photography, which you can see her beautiful work here. Elise is one of the sweetest people I know and Ty is so caring, so kind, so perfect for each other. They have been friends since they were teenagers in school and they are now going to spend the rest of their lives together. I am so happy for them and I was completely honored to photograph them as a newly engaged couple. I now present Elise and Ty…
Umm love this so much….
